Red Tailed Hawk

ISO200, 85mm, f/3.5, 1/3200s

I set my camera shutter speed to 1/3200 of a second waiting for this hawk to take flight as I crept closer to it but all it did was glare at me. With my 85mm prime lens I was able to get about 20 feet from this magnificent bird. I was just close enough to fill the frame and decided to back off. I was left with one of my most detailed images to date. I used Topaz Labs DeNoise AI which smoothed out the background, enhanced detail in the shadows and made a very crisp all around photo. I also enhanced the image with Topaz Gigapixel, transferred to photoshop and cleaned up some chromatic aberration that would not go away in Lightroom, then did the final touches in Lightroom classic.
